Karteraki or Traditional Cretan Herbal Tea: Sage, Dittany, Marjoram, and Pennyroyal (Salvia fruticosa, Origanum dictamnus, Origanum majorana, Mentha pulegium)

Karteraki’ means ‘to hope and wait’ in Greek, and each area of Crete produces its own regional mix of Karteraki tea. This traditional Cretan blend produces a highly aromatic tea that may bring a sense of optimism!

Tasting Notes:

Aromatic, with cleansing, herbaceous notes and subtle hints of sage and thyme and touch of citrus. The palate is fresh and lightly medicinal, giving soothing tones of wild mint and sage and a pure, invigorating finish.

(A bit like walking through a mountainside of fresh herbs on a hot day)
